SILVER LINING IN THE GLOOMY VISION

Living, living on the edge of cataclysm
All of us are living in an artificial prison
Humanity has lost its meaning and the reason
Still can we see a silver lining in this gloomy vision.

Sufferings and sorrows come in every season
No one steps forward to share the affliction
People die starving for help with tears frozen
Still can we see a silver lining in this gloomy vision.

Culprits run the game with full conviction
But we sit back imagining it a work of fiction
They move their pawns in the shadow of our own projection
And we yet love to live life under delusion
Still can we see a silver lining in this gloomy vision.

Those who tried to break the shackles of the ongoing confrontation
Were buried alive with their souls demanding retribution
Is this the end or is it a beginning of a new revolution
Still can we see a silver lining in this gloomy vision.

Of all the forces that make for a better world, none is so indispensable, none so powerful, as hope. Without hope men are only half alive. With hope they dream and think and work. Who so hopes strongly has within him the gift of miracles.

Well I read here that its meant to be optimistic but doesn't seem like that to me....the vision is never gloomy when there's hope. The inability to open up to hope is what blocks trust, and this I feel is the reason for blighted dreams and "gloomy visions"(pls excuse my eng).Like Martin Luther said "Everything that is done in the world is done by hope."(except this comment)(lol m not hopin for anythin)

Ya and this talk about hope reminds me...you heard what George Bush had said about hope..his "great" quote "America is the last best hope for mankind."
(??????????????????)

well i m speechless...dat is wat i cn say on dis comment...none of us has realized the actual meaning...but still the vision becomes gloomy when ppl loose hope and dis is wat happening dese days...ppl dnt realize wt dey r capable of and wat dey can do to make the world better.
they ve lost hopes of making the world better and rather opted for "LET IT BE" ATTITUDE and dat wat makes a difference between a nation with 100 billion population and d one with DOMINANT AUTHORITY all ova d world.
